VANITHA SAMAJAM

It was started on 4th March, 1952 under the leader ship of Rev. Fr. K. T. Mathews Alencheril, then the Vicar. From that time onwards the fellowship meets on every Friday at the church under the Vicar. It focuses mainly on spiritual and benevolence of the whole community.

One of the examples of this scheme runs like this – Three goats are given to three deserving families from which its kid given to other three families. It works as a running chain and as a result to an extend it helps to curb down their poverty. Under this movement two prayer fellowships are held on every Wednesday at panthrandamkuzhy and thrukkothamangalam.The total strength of the movement is 200. For the present year Mrs. Salamma Abraham Panthrandamkuzhiyil and Jessy Joy Vilanganpara acts as secretary & Trustee respectively.
