ADMINISTRATION

The administration of the church is accordingly to the constitution and tradition of Malankara Syrian Knanaya Diocese. The church administration gives equal representation to the three regions of the church namely, Vakathanam, Puthussery and  Thrukothamangalam . On every year the Annual General Body is held on the 3rd Sunday after the main feast of the church usually falls on November 9 & 10.

The trustees are being elected from these regions according to the deed of the church held in Malayalam Era 1069 and 1094 respectively.  This arrangement shows how farsighted our fore -fathers of the church.

The present system is strictly according to the rules and regulations of Diocese. All the males, those who have completed ‘21 yrs’ of age has right of vote. The managing committee consists of 15 members including both Trustee & Secretary. The Diocesan representatives for three years are also being elected from this general body. At present we have five (5) diocesan representatives.
